RULES OF ENGAGEMENT: Multiple Choice Questions preliminary to sending
us your testimony What does it mean to be a Christian? What are the benefits of becoming a
committed Christian? What is the hallmark of the Christian God?
Can we trust the Old Testament accounts? How did the Universe and all life on
Earth come about? Then what: Once you have completed the tick box
questionnaire accompanying these questions, and provided your answers satisfy
certain in-built criteria you will be asked to provide a few details about
yourself which will be held in confidence. This includes, your name, title
of story, your location (e.g. Poole), your place of worship,
and your email address. Once this is complete you may
email us your story in MS Word format, or rtf format (rich text format). You can add photographs or video, and
the layout, style, etc. will be left to your discretion. You must state the date of
your submission and sign at the bottom e.g. John S for John Smith. If you wish to remain
anonymous you could sign as John X, for example. You may also wish
to give the name of your Church. You could also state your geographical location.
Your task is to describe as succinctly as
possible what led you to becoming a Christian, bearing in mind that the
majority of people in our Country if asked about their faith would claim to
be a Christian, without necessarily appearing to have made any serious life
changing commitment to Christ. Your conversion may have occurred over night
as it were, or to have happened gradually over a
longer period of time. Alternatively you can choose to describe some
significant part of your journey that strengthened your faith. We reserve
the right to check the authenticity of testimonies with the declared place
of worship, although we will not routinely do so. A third option is to provide
a statement with explanation to declare your belief in the Bible account of origins.
This may
take the form of a joint declaration from a group of like minded individuals in your Church.
We will read your story and provided it
acts as a source of encouragement to others and sounds plausible we will
publish it on the website. We all have different skills and you may prove
at least as good as us at describing your life changing journey, and
impacting others with its message. It is OK however to get a friend, for example,
to compile your story for you from your spoken account if you feel that
their writing skills are superior to your own. The likely impact of your
testimony is what counts. Try to keep it reasonably short and as succinct
as possible. You may wish to update your story at a later
date in which case you will need to email it to us again as you did in the
first instance. You may wish, for example, to update your story by including a
photograph, or you may wish to add a sequel. You can also add a podcast or Youtube
video clip to your submission. You can also email us with a request
to have your story removed at any time. Visitor's access: The very fact that your are reading this means that
you are a visitor, either: Future developments:
