Extraordinary birth

What better evidence is there that we have a Creator God than the birth of Jesus, the Son of God? Few would dispute that Jesus was an extraordinary human being able to perform miracles simply by issuing commands. He was unique in every respect, clearly genetically different from us mere mortals. This demonstrated to the World that God has unlimited power, able to control the development of an embryo to create a very special human being, His one and only Son to live amongst us for a short while. His resurrection is further evidence if any is needed that God fully understands how our bodies function, and this is possible because He Created life.

It is easy to overlook the significance of Jesus' birth and resurrection and fail to see the link between these events and the Creationist viewpoint. We hope these observations will give our readers pause for thought.

The Bible account of the birth of Jesus

The Glory of God's Creation

The Bible says that God is a Being with intellect (Romans 11:34), and He has made a well-ordered Universe in which truth can be known and logical rules applied. God is the Creator of the human intellect, giving us the ability to comprehend, think, reason, and remember.

Finally we would like to draw your attention to the work of Dr. James Tour a scientist who has done more than anyone else to further the cause of Creationism, not based on his reading of the Bible, or on his Christian faith, but on the knowledge he has gained from working with complex molecules in the laboratory over many years. He is a true master in his fields of technology and no one disputes that.
One of his fields of expertise is Synthetic Organic Chemistry:
These scientists work with elements and compounds that are found in nature or are human-made. A Chemists primary job function is to research interactions between different chemicals to discover beneficial compounds that can be used for the betterment of the human race. Of course all of these complex chemicals are based on the trillions of elementary materials (atoms) found throughout nature supplied for the benefit of mankind by God during the Act of Creation. Dr. Tour is well placed to critique Origin of Life issues because he works with the very chemicals that life is built upon. This gives him a unique understanding of the problems of building in a laboratory the complex organic molecules found in nature.
