Many of us have friends and relations who doubt the existence of God. Even those who believe God exists
many well believe life evolved over long ages with little or no input from Him. This is not surprising given
that this philosophy is relentlessly promulgated by popular media outlets with the help of stars such as British broadcaster and naturalist
David Attenborough in his excellent wild life programmes. Many education establishments at all levels, especially the Universities, also hold to the
same God denying narrative.
Such presenters, educators, and authors do not offer evolution
as a possible alternative explanation for the origin of life, but as a proven fact, therefore it is rarely if ever
questionned by the public at large who hold such people in high regard. The fact that evolutionary explanations for the origin of life are no longer sustainable
from a scientific perspective is swept under the carpet because most, but not all, scientists and others with vested interests have to keep
the evolutionary ball rolling if they are to maintain their reputation, careers and income.
Clearly this is a very sad and sorry state of affairs but there is little or no sign that things will change any time soon.
We hope that you have taken on board the message from ID (intelligent design) and will feel confident enough to share the good news with
those you know who may not be aware of it and its implications. There will also be parishioners in your church who are unaware of ID and
some who believe in theistic evolution. Many people are unwilling to declare what their views are because they do not know who, or what,
to believe and they do not want to add to the controversy. The attitude of the heirarchy of the Roman Catholic church seems to be that it doesn't
matter what you believe on the subject of origins as long as you continue as a signed up member of their church. One questions the wisdom
of such a standing as it basically allows doubt to be cast on the very existence of the God of the Bible.
There are a growing number of organisations and
groups of individuals who are working tirelessly to get the ID message out but of course they are faced with a lot of opposition
and scepticism. Powerful groups of atheists and secular humanists will stop at nothing to undermine the message from ID
because it is not in their interests to support it, and they have the media on their side. We would of course be very happy for you to raise
awareness of our website to those you are hoping to convince. Please do contact us if you need any help or advice, and we will do our best to
provide assistance.
The role of the Church
Churches are increasingly fucusing more attention on the Genesis account of Creation as
they take on board the message from ID. Your Church is almost certainly in this category so you could encourage
those you are engaging with to accompany you to services. This should open up the possibility of discussing these issues
with other like minded individuals and help turn the tide against atheistic evolution.
Drone Footage by Stefan Zimmermann: BEAUTIFUL SCOTLAND (Highlands / Isle of Skye)
1. Creation sings the Father's song.
He calls the sun to wake the dawn
And run the course of day
'Til evening falls in crimson rays.
His fingerprints in flakes of snow,
His breath upon this spinning globe;
He charts the eagle's flight;
Commands the newborn baby's cry.
Refrain:
Hallelujah!
Let all creation stand and sing, "Hallelujah!"
Fill the earth with songs of worship, tell the wonders of creation's King.
2. Creation gazed upon His face;
The ageless One in time's embrace
Unveiled the Father's plan
Of reconciling God to man.
A second Adam walked the earth,
Whose blameless life would break the curse,
Whose death would set us free
To live with Him eternally.
3. Creation longs for His return,
When Christ shall reign upon the earth;
The bitter wars that rage
Are birth pains of a coming age.
When He renews the land and sky,
All heav'n will sing and earth reply
With one resplendent theme:
The glory of our God and King!
