The truth of Genesis (last updated: 11th January 2026)
Genesis 6:2-4
Genesis 6:2-4 seems to imply that fallen angels came to Earth and married human females in the days leading up to the Noah
flood and shortly afterwards. The following website 'BiblicalTruths' unravels the meaning behind this account in
Genesis and it is not that actual Angels descended onto Earth from the heavenly realm with human mimicking bodies as some
suggest, marrying human females to produce children. There are areas in the Bible where it is not easy to deduce
definite meaning and this is one of them:
"Genesis is often debated: is it history, poetry, or myth? Why does it matter if it's taken as literal history?
Explore how Genesis lays the foundation for biblical doctrines and explains the origin of death and suffering.
Can a worldview without Genesis uphold moral absolutes, or does it shift the basis for truth entirely?"
Our view is that Genesis contains the accurately recorded word of God, therefore it is 100% reliable in every respect.
Efforts have been relentlessly made by sceptics over the generations to try to cast Genesis into disrepute. Their
efforts have all been in vain. Truth will always eventually prevail!:
The truth of Genesis revealed in this remarkable YouTube video from Creation.com
1. Creation sings the Father's song.
He calls the sun to wake the dawn
And run the course of day
'Til evening falls in crimson rays.
His fingerprints in flakes of snow,
His breath upon this spinning globe;
He charts the eagle's flight;
Commands the newborn baby's cry.
Refrain:
Hallelujah!
Let all creation stand and sing, "Hallelujah!"
Fill the earth with songs of worship, tell the wonders of creation's King.
2. Creation gazed upon His face;
The ageless One in time's embrace
Unveiled the Father's plan
Of reconciling God to man.
*A second Adam walked the earth,
Whose blameless life would break the curse,
Whose death would set us free
To live with Him eternally.
3. Creation longs for His return,
When Christ shall reign upon the earth;
The bitter wars that rage
Are birth pains of a coming age.
When He renews the land and sky,
All heav'n will sing and earth reply
With one resplendent theme:
The glory of our God and King!
