Solar Eclipse 12th August 2026 Denial that God Created the Heavens The BBC has waxed lyrical about the impending solar eclipse without giving any credit to, or mention of, the one who set it all in motion to enthral mankind throughout the ages. The possibility that the diameters, distances and alignements involved that give rise to a solar eclipse as seen from Earth arose by chance is very improbable. Why would God bother to arrange our solar system to make solar eclipses possible one might ask? Surely He wants to demonstrate His greatness, unlimited powers and infinite wisdom to us providing human kind with evidence that He is the Creator of The Universe and all that lies within it. His caring and controlling influence is everywhere if we care to look around? To give substance to our claims here is the data that lies behind solar eclipse events on Earth: Distance from the centre of the sun to its outer edge (radius): 432,300 miles. Least radius of moons circular shadow over the sun: 391,868 miles. this occurs when, the moon is at a maximum distance of 251,908 miles from Earth, and the sun at a minimum distance from Earth of 91,402,640 miles. Greatest radius of moons circular shadow over the sun: 453,023 miles. this occurs when, the moon is at a minimum distance of 225,309 miles from Earth, and the sun at a maximum distance from Earth of 94,509,460 miles. It follows that the mathematical average radius of the moons shadow is (391,868 + 453,023)/2 = 422,455 miles. The Corona (outermost layer of suns visible radiation) starts at 1300 miles from the suns surface and extends indefinitely and variably out into space. It is visible to the human eye only during a solar eclipse and consists of superheated jets of gas thrown thousands of miles out into space. A total solar eclipse allows us to see the corona that is normally hidden by the incredibly strong light of the Sun. On 12th August 2026 the data was as follows: distance of moon from Earth: 228,620 miles distance of sun from Earth: 94,279,373 miles therefore radius of moons shadow: (1080/228620) * 94,279,373 = 445,375 miles the surface of the inner core is therefore hidden by the shadow but the corona shines brightly well beyond the visible edges. We should be eternally grateful to God for providing us with the spectacle of eclipses. It is a shame that many scientists today give Him none of the credit He is due for this.
