Solar Eclipse 12th August 2026 God Created the Universe. 
This notion is repeatedly rejected in commentaries, and by omissions, associated with media outlets across the board. The BBC, for example, has waxed lyrical about the impending solar eclipse without giving any credit to, or mention of, the one who set it all in motion. These solar events have enthralled mankind throughout the ages. The possibility that the diameters, separation distances and alignement of centres that give rise to a total solar eclipse as seen from Earth can arise by chance is highly improbable. Even partial solar eclipses where perfect alignement of centres is not met are an amazing sight. Why would God bother to arrange our planetary system to make solar eclipses possible one might ask? Surely He wants to demonstrate His greatness, unlimited powers and infinite wisdom to us providing human kind with evidence that He is the Creator of The Universe and all that lies within it. Also it cannot be denied that solar eclipses are a source of great wonderment and enjoyment to viewers around the World. Everyone has an opportunity to witness one at some stage during their life. They are a true wonder of His Creation. By keeping our minds open His caring and powerful influence can be seen everywhere around us. To give substance to our claims here is the data that lies behind solar eclipse events on Earth. We have chosen extreme values in order to present the fullest picture of what can occur. Normally the parameters will lie inside these boundaries: Distance from the centre of the sun to its outer edge (radius): 432,300 miles. Least radius of moons circular shadow over the sun: 391,868 miles. this occurs when, the moon is at a maximum distance of 251,908 miles from Earth called its apogee, and the sun at a minimum distance from Earth of 91,402,640 miles. A situation such as this could not give rise to a total solar eclipse as the sun would be slightly visible around its perimeter lying outside of the moons shadow. Such an event is called an annular solar eclipse. Greatest radius of moons circular shadow over the sun: 453,023 miles. this occurs when, the moon is at a minimum distance of 225,309 miles from Earth called its perigee, and the sun at a maximum distance from Earth of 94,509,460 miles. This gives rise to a total solar eclipse provided the centres align. With centres in alignement and the radius of the moons circular shadow exceeding 432,300 miles a total solar eclipse will always occur. The Corona (outermost layer of suns visible radiation) starts at 1300 miles from the suns surface and extends indefinitely and variably out into space. It is visible to the human eye only during a full solar eclipse and consists of superheated jets of gas thrown thousands of miles out into space. A total solar eclipse allows us to see the corona that is normally obscured by the incredibly strong light of the Sun. It is a truly amazing sight that last only a few moments to reveal a normally hidden world. Total solar eclipses occur somewhere on Earth every 18 months on average, they recur at any given place only once every 360 to 410 years.

On 12th August 2026, a partial eclipse in England, the data was as follows: distance of moon from Earth: 228,620 miles distance of sun from Earth: 94,279,373 miles therefore radius of moons shadow: (1080/228620) * 94,279,373 = 445,375 miles the surface of the sun would therefore have been completely hidden by the shadow if it had been a full eclipse and the corona would have shone brightly well beyond the visible edges. Sadly because the centres did not align in England a full eclipse did not occur and the corona did not become visible. We should be eternally grateful to God for providing us with the spectacle of eclipses. In times past long before TV, mobile phones, etc., had been invented human beings had less distractions to contend with and were able to acquire a better understanding and appreciation of what was going on in the World around them. It is a great pity that many scientists today give God little of the praise He is due for creating our amazing universe preferring instead to believe it all came about by chance operations encompassing billions of years.
